Bow / HuntingPhase429

(10 reviews)

The all-new 2023 Phase4 is our most efficient hunting system to date. This year we challenged ourselves to innovate at the leading edge of what physics will allow in a hunting bow. By damping vibration directly in the limbs, we are able to drastically reduce downstream wasted energy felt in the hand during and after the shot. Combined with our new Bridge-Lock Stabilizers that offer improved balance points, increased harmonic tunability and a more robust connection to your bow, the Phase4 is the most advanced and adaptable hunting system we've ever designed.

Feature TechResistance Phase Damping

RPD stops vibration at the source – resulting in our smoothest shooting archery system to date. This first of it’s kind innovation tackles excess energy directly in the limbs – significantly deadening and silencing post-shot vibration.

Feature TechNEW Bridge-LockStabilizer

Utilizing our exclusive Bridge-Lock™ Technology, these new stabilizers integrate directly into the riser creating a more rigid connection and better balance point. Featuring our patent pending Interlink™ Weight Technology and a quick-disconnect knob allowing adjustability in 1/2″ increments, the Bridge-Lock™ offer a new level of harmonic tuning and customization in a single bar.

Feature TechStay Afield System (S.A.S.)

At less than 1/2 ounce, our minimalist flo-orange servicing cable and our specifically modified cams allow backcountry hunters to safely remove or repair their strings and cables in the field without the use of a bow press. This ultra-lightweight and compact system is the ultimate emergency bow kit to keep you in the hunt.

Style Your Stealth

Over the last several months, Mathews Team Shooters tested the Phase4 in the field, testing it in all types of conditions. After months of development and testing in the lab, no bow hits the market unless it passes our Proving Ground.

5 out of 5 The quietest, smoothest bow EVER!

This bow is the quietest, smoothest and most dead-in-the-hand bow that’s ever been manufactured. Mathews has done it again and this bow is a bowhunters dream! The new bridge-lock stabilizers are genius and allow for the perfect balance with limited weight to ensure a lighter overall mass weight. The dampners between the limbs take away any vibration and absorb the noise better than anything ever made. You won’t be disappointed with this bow!

5 out of 5 Best bow I’ve shot to date.

I’ve shot most of my life and a ton of bows over the years from a bunch of different bow manufacturers including Mathews. The Phase 4 29 I would say is the smoothest shooting hunting bow I’ve yet to shoot. Fast, quite, dead in the hand and yes this bow is forgiving. I went in to the local dealer and ran threw all the top bows from 6 of the top bows companies and at the end I had two bows to pick from the Phase 4 one in the 29 and one in the 33. Normally I would have went with the longer bow but after shooting these two next to each other the 29 just felt a hair better to me. Mathews has went above and beyond with there new switch weight technology that sure makes it nice to be able to switch a cam module out to adjust your bows peek weight and let off. The bridge lock system is also nice and I really like that they left the option open to be able to use normal equipment or you can utilize the bridge lock system a big thumbs up on that Mathews. I truly love everything about this bow and I’m sure you will as well.

5 out of 5 Best bow I've ever shot

This is the third bow I have ever owned, first Mathews. The difference is something you really have to hear for yourself. Absolutely incredible, and never looking back. I do wish the bridgelock stabilizer was a little cheaper though, but that isn’t reflective of the bow itself.

I tested all the top of the line bows at my local shop in my draw length and preferred draw weight. I’m not loyal to brands it’s just simply the smoothest dead in the hand in my opinion money can buy. I look forward to this years hunting season. Thanks Mathews for a home run!

My second bow I have ever bought. I was torn between the Hoyt VTM and the Phase 4. I shot the Hoyt and it felt really nice, balanced, quiet. As soon as I shot the Phase 4, I was a little sad because the Hoyt was what I thought I wanted. I shot both again, and there was just no comparison for me, I left the shop with the Mathew’s Phase 4, and hopefully soon I can purchase the rest of the system. As for now I have swapped my old accessories to the Phase 4, and still couldn’t be happier with bow. It’s virtually silent. Now I just need to find something tasty to put in front of it this fall.

5 out of 5 New To Archery!

Recently moved to a state where non-resident Draws for rifle hunting is near impossible. BUT, archery Draws offer favorable odds. So, after much research I decided to head to Scheels and get outfitted. I WISH I HAD GOT INTO ARCHERY SOONER. My new Ambush Green 29″ Phase 4 is such a fun bow to shoot. Having never shot a bow, I did not know what to expect, but what I’m experiencing is nothing like I would have imagined. The bow is light, the let off is comfortable, and it is so QUIET and virtually NO REVERB or vibration. I did cheap out and did not opt for the Bridgelock stabilizer. The bow does not need it for vibration, but I did order one today to help my inexperienced muscles hold steadier. Ready to shoot as much as I can in anticipation for Fall!!! If you are on the edge, BUY IT. Very happy with my purchase. (dont cheap out, deck it out)

Wow. Shooting experience reminds me of the Mathews TX-5. Consistently smooth draw cycle and whisper quiet. Pin settles better than VXR, V3 or Traverse. Looking forward to shooting this bow a lot more.

5 out of 5 One of Mathews Best Bows Produced

    Jason Callaway

Owned several different Mathew bows and this is by far the best! The Phase 4 29” is a must have if you’re wanting to improve your game, fast and smooth shooting! If you’re wanting something that is quiet and well balanced, this is the bow to get. Bridge lock technology has made this bow even better when you have the ability to adjust your weight balance when using Mathew’s bridge lock stabilizers. Find a retailer and go shoot one, you won’t regret it.
