I have not thought about buying a new bow since I purchased my Chill in 2013. When the 29 came out, I went to my local dealer that day. They were still setting the demo model up. After shooting it, I immediately put one on reserve. This bow is so smooth and quiet. I love the 29 ATA that puts you midline that will make a great rig to carry to the stand. Can’t wait to get my finished set up in my hands.

I really wanted a new bow after having my Creed since it came out but wasn’t sure what I wanted. I went to my local dealer the day the V3x was released and after shooting this beauty I immediately put a deposit down on a granite V3x. I picked this baby up yesterday and after an easy setup, I couldn’t be happier. This bow is super quiet, balanced and a total tack driver. I shot until it was to dark to see the target anymore. Don’t walk to get one. Run and try this awesome bow out. You will be sold.

If any bow deserves 5 stars it’s the V3X 29 I haven’t shot a bow this smooth on the draw cycle since the htr no cam and based on that alone I had to get one and I am shooting it just as well as my no cam and tuning this bow was super easy. Just had to shim the bottom cam over and it shot a bullet hole. Didn’t have to move the rest at all

After years of shooting Hoyt Carbon bows, I resolved to shot the Mathews after buying an “untuneable” RX4 (my shop and I tried everything to get that bow to tune, nothing worked) contacted Hoyt and received a completely un helpful “deal with it” response from them. First shot with the V3X 29 and I was hooked. The first thing I noticed was how completely dead in the hand the bow was. Next was consistency of arrow placement (Robinhood in the first 3 shots at 20 yards). Next the smooth draw cycle. The fit and finish were fantastic and after a week or so I was able to get a BridgeLock compatible Black Gold site from S&S Archery (Thanks Rob ur the best). Got my pins on and French tune done and the first shot at 100 yards with it found it mark dead center of the target. 70 LBS at 29.5” is sending a 430gr arrow right at 300 FPS. Could not be happier with this bow and would encourage anyone looking for a slick hunting rig to head to your Mathews shop and give one a try.

was looking into buying a new bow as I’ve had mine for 5 years while i was growing. now that i stopped growing i was looking around for a new bow. i went down to my local bow shop and shot everything i could to try and find the bow that best fit me.

out of all the bows in the shop this one felt the best by far. the back wall was amazing, the bow just sits nice you your hand.

a bonus is the 29” ata this allows it to be stable yet at the same time small enough that its mobile

Love the new V3X 29! Purchased a black model at Roger’s Sporting Goods as soon as it became available. The bow is so well balanced with the integrated accessories and new Low Pro quiver. I was worried the shorter ata might make it more difficult to shoot than my V3 31, but I actually have been shooting the V3X 29 even better! Thank you Matt McPherson and everyone at Mathews for another high quality product.

    Darrel Alderete

Just anticipating the release of the new 2022 V3X, was able to locate a dealer with them in stock. I haven’t shot any of the new bows since the purchase of my Halon 6 (shame on me lol) and was in for an awesome surprise, the Granite color with the Bridge-Lock technology and S.A.S. was a beautiful sight, the draw was smooth as butter with a very solid back with wall85% let off, then the release was so quiet, the quietest of all the Mathews bows I have owned (Heli M, Chill R, Creed XS, Halon 6 and now the proud owner of the 2022 V3X 29). Thanks again MATHEWS for another awesome bow!!

I’ve never owned or shot a Mathews, I’ve had Diamond, Bear, and Bowtech. But decided to go shoot one for the heck of it.
I ended up walking out of the dealer with the new 2022 Mathews V3X 29. I shot it 5 times and was hooked, Such an Amazing bow, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new bow!! And the new sight would also recommend it as well.

Had to wait until the bows made it to a semi local pro shop (7hr drive), wasn’t entirely sure I was going to buy a bow that day until I shot the 29. Had the opportunity to shoot both the 33 and 29 that day and both felt great in hand but ultimately the smaller frame suited me better than the 33, these bows are lights out in hand zero vibration and the quietest bow I’ve had the pleasure of shooting if there’s any questioning what your next bow is put one of these in hand and you’ll have your answer

V3x 29 is absolutely amazing! Super smooth, quiet and vibration free on the shot. Been a Bowtech guy for the last fifteen years, after shooting the V3x 29 I bought one on the spot. Can’t put it down. I’m going back next week to buy a 33.

As an adult-onset archery hunter, the V3X 29 was my first-ever bow purchase and I’m absolutely thrilled with the quality, feel, speed, and accuracy of this rig. Paired with the Mathews quiver, bridgelock sight and integrated rest…it’s the total hunting package and everything I hoped for.

After leaving the sport for a few years. I decided to try out the V3X to find out what all the hype was about. I literally shot one arrow at my dealer and I bought the 29″ model on the spot! It was extremely smooth and so easy to shoot that it made me wonder how they keep coming up with these amazing bows! It’s a remarkable piece of technology that far surpasses my previous Solo cams and even my Halon. I like this system so much I went back and bought the 33″ as well. I’m 56 years old and if I had owned this technology 20 years ago, I may never have taken a break from the sport!! Nice job to the Mathews team for bringing an absolute dream bow to the archery world!

Great bow, quiet and shoots hard. 29 inch drawing 70 pounds with only 27 1/2 inch draw. Stable and accurate even being short acle to axle length. Smooth, and like the fact that you can easily add accessories to this set up.

5 out of 5 Huge leap in technology

    nmscout308@yahoo.com

The last bow I shot before two rotator tendon surgeries (left and right) was a Mathews Q2. That was 2001. I thought my archery shooting was over but two good surgeons and 19 years later I bought a used Mathews Triax. Incredible bow, quiet and accurate. This year Mathews comes out with what I believe is a big leap in what today’s technology and engineering is capable of: the V3X. I went with the 29, trying to keep it as close to the Triax as possible so I can switch from one to the other if needed seamlessly. As much as I like the Triax, the V3X is a leap ahead. Lighter, better balance, smoother, and easier to shoot accurately. That’s saying a lot because the Triax is excellent in all those areas. Hats off to Mathews. Expensive? Well, you get what you pay for with Mathews. All quality gear.

    Glenn l. Brown Jr

2 weeks ago I purchased the V3X29 in black & I had shot atleast 7 other proline compound bows that day, I’ve owned 17 PSE Bows since I was a kid, I’ve shot many others as well over the yrs, I’m not a pro archer, just a serious bow hunter and I liked the other top bows as well, all has aspects i liked..had the archery tech building me a new hoyt & the I saw the v3x & shot 24 arrows and I couldn’t put it down. Changed my mind from hoyt to mathews, What a unit this creation is!! Unreal draw cycle, just feels great to hold n shoot. Was also my 1st time using a back tension release that day. I love this bow & the lifetime warranty as well. I put custom black n yellow strings n cables, all matching accessories & this looks so futuristic! Couldn’t b happier with my decision, I’ve shot over 300 arrows in 2weeks & have it dialed in now! Great work Mathews 💯

The V3x 29 is simply the best Bow I’ve ever owned. It’s quite and draws really smooth and it didn’t take long to get it all dialed in. Also another aspect of the bow is with Bridge Lock system and low pro quiver and teamed with the Integrate rest an awesome system to shoot. This bow is a pure joy to shoot. Bring on the Minnesota bow season!!!

V3X, every year you think its not possible to get a better bow. Mathews proves this theory wrong every year. The most perfected, complete bow I have ever owned. They just get better every year. Everyone asks why I purchase a new bow every year. Its simple. The engineers find a way to perfect perfection. Period.

5 out of 5 You made me a believer!

    shamus275

I’ll be honest, I went to the shop to buy another brand and walked out with a fully loaded V3X 29 after a few test shots. I’ve never been brand loyal and I shoot what feels right and shoots good for me. This bow holds and shoots amazing. No pin dance, no vibration and just a dead silent shot. I shot Mathews back in my tournament days and I’ve always been impressed with the quality and attention to detail that goes into their bows. This is very apparent when shooting a V3X with all the Mathews bells and whistles…everything just works together so flawlessly. The speed at my short 27.5” draw with a 500+ grain arrow is also quite impressive and faster than the competition by a good 20 fps. The bow tuned easily and only required swapping the top hats top and bottom to get a perfect bullet hole in a matter of minutes. I couldn’t be happier with this bow!

5 out of 5 How much better can it be

    Brian

To the point, it is significantly better than my VXR 31.5 which I love. I like shorter bows but with a 29.5” draw it is very hard to find a comfortable bow with a short ATA. This bow feels great and shoots better. It’s very quiet and hand shock free. I recommend if you buy this bow to go with a compatible dovetail sight and either the QAD or Hamskea epsilon Mathew’s edition. The rest and sight along with the low pro quiver makes the bow extremely balanced. It’s the first time I’m shooting my bow with a quiver on. Great bow great system. Only gripe is the grip. I swapped the grip out for side plates and it is so much better.
