5 out of 5 The V3 is LEGIT!

Mathews has knocked it out of the park with this bow. Both the 31 and the 27 are as balanced of a bow as I’ve ever shot. The new cable guard design is genius and allows more fletching clearance than any bow ever. I didn’t think they could make a bow any quieter than the VXR but they did. This bow is dead in the hand with no vibration and has a smooth draw cycle with a solid back wall. Great job Mathews!

5 out of 5 The guys who say it's a halon or the same as past bows... NOT

    Shane Gouldthread

Waiting on mine as we speak. I can’t begin to count the thousands of arrows I’ve put out of my bows. For the guys who say this is just another spin from the halon, vertix, and vxr.. it might look similar but this beast is it’s own being. I went back in to my local shop and shot countless arrows out of the vxr and the v3. The v3 shot and felt better in my hand. I can’t wait to add this bow into my hands for the 2022 season ahead. Mathews did it again, hats off boys.

    5 out of 5 V3 - Second To None!

I went into my local archery shop (Full Curl – Anchorage AK) and was curious to try out the V3. I have been shooting a Halon 6 and wanted to see how it compared. After 2 shots, I was sold. This bow is rock sold stable and I was shooting ultra tight groups right out of the gate. Way beyond impressed!

Shot the V3 31” at my local bow shop. It was dead in the hand and a great back wall. Extremely smooth drawing and unbelievably quite. This is for sure the best of the best bows I have ever shot. I liked it so much I came back to the dealer three days later and ordered one. Great job Mathews on the V3 design. Always amazed with your development and research Team but never surprised for you have always been the leader and initiator in the Bow world.

This is my first ever bow and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I shot other bow brands before I bought this and I will just say this bow just feels right and has all the features I am looking for. I don’t ever think there will be a need for me to ever shoot any other brand but Mathews. I love that they have the ability to get all the accessories with it too. Hopefully in 2021 we can get some antlers hung with it.

5 out of 5 All the right stuff

Ok, so I paid my dues. Recurve, to cheap Amazon SAS bow to a used Mathews Halon 6 that I refurbished with Triax cams, and axles. The V3 is nothing less than an engineering marvel and a total joy to shoot. The Halon was something, but this is something else. The draw cycle is extremely smooth with a solid back wall. I do not feel a valley anywhere. I scoffed at the presence of only one harmonic dampener on this bow, compared to the Halon 6, but it outperforms my old bow. The 31 inch ATA is very forgiving. I have to be careful to shoot off center so as to not damage arrows. I cannot say enough good things about this bow.

5 out of 5 V3 actually made me change my normal brand.

    Dillon Luce

I’ve shot a different brand for years. Never thought I would buy outside of that brand. I tested them all this time. I tried the 27 and the 31. Im a taller guy with a long draw. The 27 anchor point was rough to meet. ( just uncomfortable) the 31 was perfect. I shot between the RX5 and the V3 (31) long story short my Mathews is on order just have to wait 4 weeks.

5 out of 5 First Bow / Shop Local

    WM.Baird

First, a big thanks to Tyler and the Miedema’s over at Long Range Archery (Holland MI). Top shelf experience all the way around while they helped guide the process. I shot several really nice “flagship” bows, and realized quickly why Mathews are so highly regarded. Vibration, or lack there of in the V3, was the deciding factor for me personally. Pretty certain my brother, a long time Mathews guy, had no intention of walking out with a new V3 that day as well…Looking forward to October!

Went to local bow shop (Broken rack archery in Batavia,oh) to check one out. After 2 shots I traded in my triax and ordered one. It’s hands down to best bow I’ve ever released an arrow out of. It’s so smooth it’s hard to believe you even released the arrow. Can’t wait to get it and start flinging.

5 out of 5 Traverse replacement

    Mike Adrian

I got my V3 31 in early January. I wasn’t sure when I bought it if I would like it more than my Traverse. I have to say I do. It’s quieter, less vibration and lighter. The back wall is also firmer. I was worried it wouldn’t hold on target as well. It is every bit as steady as the traverse. This bow made me realize how loud the fletching is! It’s so quiet, the arrow makes more noise than the bow. I enjoy shooting this bow more than any bow I have ever owned. All this said, I won’t be selling the Traverse anytime soon. It’s also a keeper.

    5 out of 5 Upgrade to Mathews V3 31" from Halon 32

    Ben

I was introduced to Mathews with a Halon 32, a life changing upgrade from the Bowtech I had previously. After a few years, I decided it was worth looking at the latest bows and after a few shots through the V3 31″, couldn’t resist. Picked one up, brought it home and set it next to my Halon 32 and honestly was a little embarrassed thinking I paid a bunch of money for the same bow – they look pretty similar. However, I took them both to the range the next day and wow…. couldn’t believe how much quieter and more “dead in hand” the V3 shoots. Arrows touching groups at 50 yards on my first day with the bow, can’t beat Mathews!
