Bow / CompetitionTRX® 38 G2

(2 reviews)

Built off of the proven design of the longer TRX models, the 38 inch axle-to-axle TRX 38 G2 fills the void perfectly for shooters looking for a shorter, lighter, more comfortable bow for their draw length. The wider riser adds rigidity throughout the sight and rest-mounting locations while the dovetail mount accommodates QAD’s IMX and the new TRi rests. This new riser design also features 3D Damping to reduce post-shot vibration. The new 75% percent mod gives shooters more speed and a better feel while the 80 percent and 70V mods remain an option. A true-center nocking point ensures straight and level nock travel, further enhancing shot-to-shot consistency and a 7 inch brace height provides unmatched forgiveness.

5 out of 5 TRX 38 G2 an unexpected new experience

I have been shooting a wide variety of compound bows for many years. My field of use is the field bow and 3D. An experienced friend pushed his TRX 38 G2 into my hand with a mischievous smile and simply said, give it a try. Since we have the same draw length and similar pounds, it was no problem. The draw was silk smooth, almost no valley and at 75% let-off the bow was on target without a flinch. The launch noise was very impressive, as quiet as a hunting bow, no vibration, no nothing. After this little test I very hesitantly gave the bow back to my friend, drove to my dealer and ordered with express delivery the Mathews TRX 38 G2.

    5 out of 5 TRX38 g2. A superb experience

I bought this bow a year ago. the feel. The steadiness, the sound. Its an extraordinary bow for target 50m or 18m. Súper easy to tune. (Just dont forget to get a top hat kit). The aftershot dead in the hand saves you from Lots of future wrist issues, with the 75% let off mods. Is a very good draw cycle feel, very smooth. And despite its a cable stop. The back wall is solid as a rock. With the side plates the torque is unexistant. The only thing that would be for the perfect bow. Is the paint finish. Dont get me wrong the finish is flawless. And its a high end paint finish. But it would be perfect if it had anodized blue or red finish.
